The much-awaited Procurement Act 2023 came into effect on the 24th Feb 2025. The Act is designed to improve transparency, simplify procurement procedures, and create a more competitive and accessible marketplace.

What you need to know:

  • The Act introduces new procurement procedures, including a greater focus on value for money and social value.

  • There are updated transparency requirements, meaning more accessible procurement opportunities.

  • Introduces the Central Digital Platform as a single platform for suppliers to register and gain visibility of opportunities for work with Public Sector.

To take full advantage of new opportunities and be able to bid for future work, we encourage you to:

  • Register on the new procurement Central Digital Platform, as soon as possible.
