Challenge scheme
The Fusion Industry Programme challenge scheme is focused on engaging and supporting UK businesses to overcome important technical challenges in fusion, developing valuable intellectual assets and capabilities within the UK private sector supply chain. UKAEA is pleased to announce the launch of a new Fusion Industry Programme (FIP) challenge, which aims to encourage innovation in the development of resilient sensing technologies for fusion.
The challenge ‘Improving power plant control with innovative and robust diagnostic systems’ invites organisations to apply for up to £250,000 (inclusive of VAT) for initial feasibility studies and concept development.
UKAEA is inviting organisations interested in the challenge to attend a Q&A event with the FIP team on the 25th of November. The Q&A event will provide organisations with a chance to speak directly to the UKAEA team about the latest challenge and how their organisation can get involved.
