Remote Operations Training Course

UKAEA's Outreach Team is excited to relaunch our mobile planetarium, the sundome, for Oxfordshire primary schools.

The sundome can accommodate approximately 30 primary-aged pupils at a time and offers an immersive learning experience centred on fusion energy and the work we do at UKAEA. During the session, pupils will watch two short films narrated by UKAEA staff, along with taking part in an interactive activity between screenings.

We will begin accepting bookings in September. If you would like to be among the first to hear when bookings open and receive other outreach updates, please sign up to our schools mailing list.

UKAEA's Tritium Training Course offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from leading tritium experts. Delivered at Culham, the course combines specialist training with a tour of UKAEA's Active Gas Handling System, providing valuable insight into one of fusion's most important fuel cycles.

This classroom-based course is applicable to industry, academia, start-ups, graduates, new starters, scientists, engineers, and operators with a range of tritium knowledge.

The two-day course runs from the 15th September to the 16th September, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
